J.S. Monroe

J.S. Monroe, the pen name of Jon Stock, is the author of four psychological thrillers. His best-selling debut, Find Me, was published in the UK and the US in 2017. Translation rights have been sold to 14 countries.His latest Monroe thriller, The Other You, is published by Head of Zeus in July. Jon has also written five spy thrillers under his own name, including Dead Spy Running, which was optioned by Warner Bros. The screenplay was written by Oscar-winner Stephen Gaghan. In 2017, Jon was commissioned by The Nare, a luxury hotel in Cornwall, to write a spy novella set in and around the hotel.

After reading English at Cambridge, Jon worked for many years as a freelance journalist, including a stint as a foreign correspondent in New Delhi, before returning to the UK to edit the Weekend section of the Daily Telegraph. He became a full-time writer in 2015 and lives in Wiltshire with his wife, a photographer, and their family. In October, he starts as a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at MansfieldCollege, Oxford.
