Maggie Alderson is the bestselling author of nine novels and one book for children, which was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Award in Australia. Before becoming a full-time author she was an award-winning magazine editor, of ELLE and ES, a journalist contributing to magazines and newspapers in the UK and the US, and a columnist for The Times.
She currently writes a book column for The Lady magazine. She lives in Hastings with her husband and teenage daughter.
