Happy Hour with Tippl: Daiquiri

For this week’s episode of Happy Hour with our friends at Tippl, they are here to quite literally blast away your old loves of traditional cocktails like the Mojito & introduce new flavours to spice up your summer drinks menu.

Now although you may have heard of a Daiquiri before, it probably was laced with sugar & strawberries. It may have even given you brain-freeze. So this simple, refreshing daiquiri uses lemon juice, syrup & rum to give you a new sipper this summer. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 50ml/ 2 parts rum
  • 15ml/ 0.5 part simple syrup
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • Ice
  • Wedge of lime to serve
